1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, joining a workspace, or using Hourweave, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and, when acting for an organization, authorized to bind that organization.
2. The service
Hourweave provides time tracking, project and client management, expense records, approvals, reports, estimates, invoices, team management, and related project-operations features. We may improve, add, remove, or change features while taking reasonable care not to materially reduce paid functionality without notice.
Hourweave supports operational recordkeeping but is not legal, tax, payroll, accounting, or financial advice. You remain responsible for reviewing records, invoices, rates, taxes, approvals, exports, and business decisions.
3. Accounts and workspace administration
You must provide accurate information, protect login credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Workspace owners control member access, permissions, billing seats, and organization data. You are responsible for actions taken through accounts under your control and for ensuring that your use of personal data is lawful.
4. Subscriptions, renewals, and taxes
Paid plans are priced per seat on a monthly or yearly billing cycle as shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until canceled. You may cancel through the billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Seat and billing-cycle changes may result in prorated charges or credits shown before confirmation.
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for Hourweave orders and handles payment-related buyer support, cancellations, and returns. Your purchase is also governed by the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms. Paddle calculates and collects applicable transaction taxes and provides receipts or invoices for the subscription purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Hourweave to violate law or another person's rights; introduce malware; probe or disrupt security; access accounts or data without permission; send unlawful or abusive content; reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law permits; resell the service without agreement; or use automated activity that unreasonably burdens the service.
6. Your data and license to operate the service
You retain your rights in content submitted to Hourweave. You grant BQ Labs a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, copy, and back up that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service or comply with law. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
7. Hourweave intellectual property
Hourweave, its software, design, documentation, trademarks, and other service materials are owned by BQ Labs or its licensors. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your internal business purposes.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Hourweave at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, material breach, fraud, unlawful use, security risk, harm to the service or others, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hourweave is provided on an "as available" basis without implied warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Neither party excludes liability that cannot be limited by law.
To the extent permitted by law, BQ Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount paid for Hourweave by the affected organization during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be posted with a revised date and, where required, additional notice. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
