1. Who we are
Hourweave is a project operations service provided by BQ Labs. For privacy questions or requests, contact wangbenqiang0408@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect information you provide when creating and administering an account, including names, work email addresses, workspace names, language, timezone, roles, departments, rates, and permission settings.
Workspace users may add business records such as clients, contacts, projects, tasks, time entries, notes, expenses, receipts, estimates, invoices, reports, and team assignments. Your organization controls the content it enters into its workspace.
When you use Google sign-in, we receive the basic account details Google shares with your consent, such as your verified email address, name, and account identifier. When you purchase a subscription, Paddle sends us billing identifiers, subscription status, plan, seat count, payment status, and transaction events. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
We also process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as browser and device data, IP address, request logs, timestamps, error details, and authentication events.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to provide and support Hourweave, authenticate users, maintain workspace records, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, secure the service, communicate operational notices, improve reliability, comply with law, and enforce our terms.
Depending on your location and relationship with us, processing may be based on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, consent, or compliance with legal obligations.
4. When data is shared
We share data only as needed with service providers that help us run Hourweave, including infrastructure, email, authentication, monitoring, and support providers. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for paid orders and independently processes payment and buyer-support data under its own notices.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business reorganization, or at your organization's direction. We do not sell personal data.
5. Storage, retention, and security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and workspace data while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support recovery, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security records. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards where required.
6. Cookies and local storage
Hourweave uses browser storage and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, language and navigation preferences, security, and core application behavior. We do not use this storage to sell personal information.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update many account details in Hourweave. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Workspace members should first contact their organization administrator for organization-controlled records.
Send requests to wangbenqiang0408@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law requires it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Children and changes
Hourweave is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We may update this notice as the service or law changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised date.
